Our origin story
Our origin story
Simpl began as a half‑serious idea over empanadas and Belgian beer between two friends — one from Bogotá, one from Brussels — who both landed in East London. They missed the warmth of the bars back home: loud music, late nights, tables full of small plates and strangers turning into friends. After a year of pop‑ups around the city, they found a tiny corner in Shoreditch and built the kind of bar they wanted to hang out in: Colombian soul, Belgian comfort, London energy.
