Our origin story
Our origin story
Simpl started as a half‑serious idea over empanadas and Belgian beer between two friends: one from Bogotá, one from Brussels, who both ended up in East London. They missed the late‑night bars back home — the warmth, the easy sharing plates, the way a good drink turns strangers into friends.
What began as pop‑up nights around London is now a neighbourhood bar where arepas sit happily next to frites, aguardiente meets lambic, and every service feels like hosting friends in our living room.
